A Mother's Vengeance

Evelyn has already learned what her husband's family will sacrifice to protect Valentina, the niece they treat as a precious heiress. In her former life, the death of her newborn led to silence, betrayal, and her own murder when she refused to accept the family's version of events. Given another chance on the morning of the tragedy, she chooses caution over trust and sends her son to her father, the city's powerful Mafia Godfather, before returning to the christening. Valentina appears in an angelic dress, just as she did before, but Evelyn sees the danger behind the innocent image. At the gathering, a baby is found in the pool, and the Russo family moves quickly to hide what happened. Evelyn must protect her child while confronting a husband and relatives willing to destroy evidence. The unanswered question may expose whose baby Valentina truly harmed.
