Breaking My Bodyguard

Vera Marchesa has grown up surrounded by the dangers of her family’s mafia world, but she wants a life she can direct herself. Dante, assigned to protect her, keeps a firm distance even as his vigilance limits her freedom. Their bond carries the weight of hidden feelings, loyalty, and a boundary he has sworn not to cross. That conflict turns urgent when time together in the garden becomes a crisis: Dante shoots someone who is about to shoot Vera. By doing so, he breaks her father’s rule, and the other guards know punishment is coming. Vera must decide how far she will go to protect Dante, while their closeness tests the rules governing both of them.
