Don't Blink, You'll Miss It

Daniel Angier once held the title of Master of Magic, but a tragic casino heist cost him his brother and drove him into hiding. Years later, he reconnects with Eric, a close friend of his brother, and begins preparing to return to the stage. His goal is larger than restoring his reputation: he wants to reclaim the magic title and protect his childhood orphanage. In the opening episode, Daniel and Eric organize his upcoming shows while Daniel demonstrates an unsettling transformation illusion with two volunteers and a series of objects. The appearance of a third volunteer raises a troubling question about who may be involved. As Daniel keeps parts of his past concealed, competition, buried feelings and the possibility of an identity reveal shape his path toward redemption.
