One Night with the Governor

After her brother takes her savings, Esther accepts work as a maid for Governor Sean. Their lives become entangled when Sean, drugged by another woman, spends the night with Esther. He believes she deliberately pursued him for money and sends her away, while she discovers she is carrying his twins. The encounter leaves both facing consequences they never expected. Esther’s family then tries to use her situation to force her into a marriage. As the truth behind the night together comes to light, Sean steps in to protect her. To contain the scandal surrounding them, Esther and Sean agree to a practical marriage, even though mistrust still stands between them. Under pressure from her family and the public fallout, their arrangement gradually creates room for deeper feelings.
