The Alpha Queen Returns

After leaving the throne, Queen Jessica adopts the quiet work of a healer in the woods, hoping to escape the battles and bloodshed that defined her rule. She sends her daughter to the Russo pack seeking a safer future, but the girl is treated as a servant, humiliated and abused because she has neither fame nor power. This choice turns Jessica's retreat into a personal crisis, linking her abandoned throne to the danger surrounding her child. When the council guard humiliates and tries to attack Jessica, General Sarabeth intervenes, apologizes for the council's behavior, and urges the former queen to return. She also reports that rogue attacks are spreading, making Jessica's withdrawal impossible to ignore. Now she must weigh the quiet identity she created against the authority needed to confront the forces threatening her daughter and answer for the suffering inflicted by the Russo pack.
