The Godfather's Guardian Angel

On a snowy Thanksgiving, Rita’s healing gift brings her little comfort at home. Her ungrateful uncle William and his cruel family exploit her, ruin her holiday feast, and arrange for a thug to drive her away. Alone and hunted, Rita finds refuge when mafia godfather Richard Genovese and his wife rescue her. Their kindness leads to adoption, placing Rita within a powerful household facing danger and family troubles. Her abilities help avert crises during the journey and attract the attention of Richard’s rival. At the manor, she tries to save Richard’s dying father, Arthur, while a lost heirloom adds another mystery. As Rita earns the Genovese family’s trust, she uses her courage and unusual powers to protect the people who have accepted her as one of their own.
