The Prince's First Love

At school, Lucas Wilder is the boy everyone keeps their distance from until Prince Nicholas Valeheart takes control of his situation. Their first meeting goes badly: Nicholas stomps on Lucas’s scarf, while Lucas overhears the prince discussing a marriage pact with his best friend, Alice. A royal title does little to soften the tension between them. What begins as open friction is complicated by the pressure surrounding Nicholas and the feelings neither boy is ready to name. Lucas must work out what lies behind the prince’s behavior, while Nicholas faces the pull between his obligations and his growing attachment. As misunderstandings and school life keep bringing them together, their uneasy connection may become impossible to ignore.
